Tour description

For those who have never been to Puerto Vallarta, this tour is the perfect introduction to some of the most important sights. This Puerto Vallarta Historical City Tour gives you the opportunity to get a brief but thorough overview of the city and its history. Throughout the tour, you will also have a chance to do a little bit of shopping, to take in some very nice tropical scenery, and get a taste of the local flavor and culture. We start our tour on the north side of Puerto Vallarta and make our way south. Our first stop is the famous boardwalk locally known as the Malecon. Here we will have the chance to admire some of the many statues lining the water, such as the whale statue and the sea horse statue (great photo opportunities!), al of which are proudly made by Mexican Artists. We then visit the main points of interest in Downtown PV and the flea market area. It is then time to leave Vallarta and continue south along the Bay and up to the residential zone of Conchas Chinas. The next stop is a tequila factory, where you will learn about the process by which tequila is made, how to drink tequila like a Mexican, and have a chance to taste different varieties of tequila. Here you will have the chance to taste new flavours of tequila that you never knew existed! We continue our climb high into the subtropical rain forest of the Sierra Madre, where we’ll stop at a beautiful riverside restaurant where you can order lunch from the menu, or a drink from the bar, and take photographs next to the beautiful waterfalls.
